Family Resource Youth Services Center
What is the Russell Family Resource Center?
Our FRYSC center has been established as part of the Kentucky Education Reform Act (KERA). It is our hope that the Center will address the needs of our community by becoming a bridge between home and school. Our center is here to provide support and assistance to children and families of the Russell Independent community. The goal of the Center is to remove barriers in the way of a child's success in school in becoming productive, educated happy adults.
FRYSC Mission: To enhance student's ability to succeed in school by developing and sustaining partnerships that promote:
Early learning and successful transition to school;
Academic achievement and well-being; and
Graduation and transition into adult life.
FRYSC Vision: The Kentucky Division of Family Resource and Youth Services Centers and the Cabinet for Health and Family Services shall establish the national standard of excellence in the provision of school-based family support.
Who Can Use The Russell Independent Family Resource Youth Services Center?
The Center hopes to assist all children and families in the Russell Independent Schools. Any family and/or student in the Russell Independent School System is eligible for services regardless of income. The Center is "family focused."
